Locum ER Physicians Needed

Locum ER coverage needed $280/hr.

Join us in our Rural Emergency department.  We have a moderate volume ER with 19,000 visits per year. NP support for lower triaged patients during daytime hours.   

6 bed department with 2 resuscitation rooms, three general rooms and one safe room. CT scanner on site. X-ray and Lab available on site until late evening and by call back afterwards. On- call specialist support by General Surgery, GP Anesthesia and GP Obstetrical Surgical Skills. 

Level 3 ED- AFA.  Competitive rates.  Shifts are 12 or 24 hours. Ideally, best to come for a minimum of two to three 12 hour shifts. 

Recruiter available for logistical support and questions including assisting with housing. Travel costs and travel stipend are reimbursed through locum programs. 

Able to accommodate a more varied locum opportunity with clinic or hospitalist work if desired. 

Fort Frances has approximately 8,000 residents, with a catchment area of approximately 18,000.  Adjacent to Fort Frances is International Falls, MN, a community approximately same size as Fort Frances.  Easy access to international airports from International Falls. Rental cars can be brought across the border
