We are seeking a dedicated Family Physician / Walk-In Physician to join Halsey Medical Clinic. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, professional, and comfortable providing a wide range of primary care services. Physicians may choose to practice Family Medicine with rostered patients, Walk-In Care, or a hybrid model, depending on preference.

The role is supported by full-time administrative staff, EMR access, examination rooms, and medical equipment provided by the clinic.

Clinical Care

• Diagnose and manage upper and lower respiratory illnesses (cold, flu, infections, etc.)
• Provide blood pressure monitoring and chronic disease management
• Conduct routine physical exams and periodic health assessments
• Deliver preventive care, including screenings and health counselling
• Administer immunizations and vaccinations
• Provide referrals to specialists as required
• Perform minor surgical procedures (suture removal, staple removal)
• Conduct ear wax removal (when it impacts hearing)
• Administer TB testing (for school or approved medical purposes)
• Perform cryotherapy (for foot or genital-area lesions as permitted)

Professional Duties

• Maintain accurate patient charts using the clinic’s EMR
• Provide compassionate, patient-centred care
• Collaborate with clinic staff to maintain smooth daily operations
• Follow CPSO, OHIP, Ontario Health, and public health guidelines
• Participate in on-site quality assurance and continuity of care improvements

IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Licensed physician in Ontario (CPSO Independent License)
• Certified in Family Medicine (CCFP) preferred
• New graduates and IMG physicians with supervised practice pathways are welcome
• Strong communication and patient-care skills
• Interest in building a long-term presence within the community
