Looking for someone interested in a shared care style of practice or taking over my practice.  I am part of a great established FHO in a small town on the outskirts of Ottawa.  It's a 30min easy drive away from traffic from downtown Ottawa.  Start date is flexible.  The clinic is a physician-run FHO which fits into a larger FHT.  The group consists of 5 friendly and supportive family physicians, great reception staff and an RPN for injections/immunizations.  Through the FHT we have access to a nurse who provides a weekly pap clinic and provides preventative care support, an NP twice a week to see our patients, a pharmacist who is available for medication reconciliation/consultation and some counselling services.  

The practice itself consists of 1000 rostered patients and another 60 non-rostered patients.  Currently seeing patients 5-6 half days per week which includes one evening clinic.  Saturday coverage is one in five running from 9am-12pm.  Office times are a mix of in person and virtual appointments.  2 clinic rooms available for each physician while seeing patients.  All visits are pre-booked with a mix of both routine and urgent appointments on each shift.  All appointments are for clinic patients only.  Roster size can be increased if desired.  We use Accuro EMR.  The clinic has free parking and a small gym with squash court downstairs.  A hearing clinic and a pharmacy are currently downstairs.  New grads welcome to apply.  Option to locum in clinic first is available.
