30 to 50 hours per Week - approximately $156/hr or Fee For Service dependent on services provided. Minimum 2 years of experience. Language of work is english.

Overview
Degree in medicine and post graduate training in Family Medicine. Minimum of 2 years experience. This is a hospital position with option to work in clinic. Prefernce for FM anesthesia, minor surgical procedures with possibility of emergency room coverage.
Responsibilities
- Collect medical information from patients, family members, or other medical professionals
- Examine patients’ health condition to identify diseases and injuries
- Order laboratory tests, X-rays and other diagnostic procedures to determine the most appropriate medical treatment
- Consult with other medical practitioners to evaluate patients' physical and mental health
- Prescribe and administer medications and treatments
- Perform and assist in routine minor surgery
- Advise patients on health care
- Provide acute care management
- Provide emergency care
Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses
- College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP)
- Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities
Specialization in family practice
- Anesthesia
- Emergency medicine
- You have a valid Canadian work permit.
