The community of Preeceville, located in Southeast Saskatchewan, is seeking a team orientated and professional family physician to join their primary health care team. The successful candidate will work within a multi-disciplinary team providing primary health care services to the community of Preeceville and surrounding area and will work collaboratively with other medical professionals to support the acute care and emergency services in the area.This position will remain open until filled and may be filled prior to the posted closing date

The Rural Physician Incentive Program which provides up to $200,000 over five years to family physicians practising, or returning to practice, in rural and remote communities in SaskatchewanThe SMA Retention Fund, which provides financial reward to physicians who practise in the province for extended periods ranging from $7,000 - $14,000 per year for fulltime work.
Qualifications:
Certified or eligible to be certified with the College of Family Physicians of CanadaRegular or provisional licence with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (or eligible to be licensed)Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certificationRecommended - Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)Valid driver’s licenceSuccessful SHA credentialing including but not limited to acceptable reference checks and criminal record check with vulnerable sectorCurrent Canadian Medical Protective Association coverageLegal entitlement to work in Canada
