Combination payment model; Sign-on bonus: $5,000 for a one-year contract.

Alternative Payment Arrangement (APA)

Combination payment model; minimum of 50 patients per day with a private patients’ guarantee; flexible locum opportunities; option to provide a combination of virtual and in-person appointments.

Clinical Service Contract: 1 hour paid indirect care for every 6 hours of direct care; additional 1 hour paid indirect care per day if covering an inbox (total 2 hours paid indirect care per 6 hours); $198/hr.

The salary range is based on the Fee-For-Service (FFS) earnings, as per the Schedule of Medical Benefits (SOMB) information published by Alberta Health Salary range of $250,000-$400,000 per annum depending on the service volume and patient load. Note: The overhead structure will be discussed with the candidates who are interviewed.

Daily Rate: $2,031.30/day. Accommodations: Provided. Mileage: $0.51/km for 1 return trip per locum assignment. Travel Time: $20/hour for 1 return trip per locum assignment. Call expectations: Not continuous 24-hour in-hospital call; hospitalist to be available and return to the hospital after hours as needed.

Alternate Funded Primary Health Care Contract; salary range $373,454.00 – $432,361.00; eligible for SHA NW Area Recruitment & Relocation Stipend of $15,000 (3-year return of service); eligible for Rural Physician Incentive Program (RPIP) up to $200,000.
