Come work as Neurologist with Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH)!
The position is for In-patient epilepsy service including:
• Seizure Investigation unit calls including scalp and intracranial video-EEG monitoring, and bedside cortical mapping.
• After hour EEG and long term EEG monitoring calls.
• Epilepsy inpatient consult service.
• Routine and inpatient routine, sleep deprived and prolong EEG readings.
• Intra-operative electrocorticography and cortical mapping.
• Education of epilepsy fellows, neurology residents, medical students and nursing staff.
• Participation and presenting in our clinical and educational rounds.
• Intracarotid anesthesia for Language and memory lateralization (Wada test). This is a team work including epileptologist, anesthesiologist, neuroradiologist, and neuropsychologist.

Locum date range: March 1, 2026 to May 3, 2027

Qualifications

Education, Licensing, & Experience:
• Current College of Physicians of BC (CPSBC) – Full
• Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) - Mandatory
