Fraser Health is in search of a Psychiatrist to collaborate with our Geriatric Mental Health Teams in Abbotsford, Mission, and Maple Ridge.

The role entails:

1. Spending 1.5 days at the Abbotsford Seniors Clinic.
2. Allocating 1 day to Geri Psych Consultation Liaison at Ridge Meadows Hospital.
3. Devoting 1 day to Geri Psych Consultation Liaison at Mission Memorial Hospital.
4. Participating in the on-call rotation and Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) sessions at ARH.
5. Participation in the on-call rotation and ECT sessions is obligatory.

This presents an exciting opportunity for Psychiatrists to become part of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to supporting individuals with significant mental health challenges, particularly those who are complex and marginalized. The Physician will offer consultations to patients in both the Abbotsford and Maple Ridge communities and will receive continuous mentorship and support from FH Mental Health Physicians.

Qualifications:
Current College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC) License (Provisional); Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) (Mandatory); Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC) (Eligible)
