Fraser Health Authority is seeking to add a consulting Dermatologist to the current Dermatologists group of 2 Dermatologists to provide specialist general Dermatology care to the communities of White Rock & Delta.

The Dermatologist would be providing mostly outpatient and private community services and would also be expected to provide consulting services to in patients at the community hospitals. The Dermatologist would also be expected to obtain Clinical Faculty appointment with University of British Columbia and provide supervision, mentorship and teaching to Medical Trainees.

Facilities: Peace Arch Hospital and Delta Hospital

Peace Arch Hospital is a 188 bed hospital in White Rock, BC, offering medical, surgical, acute geriatric, obstetrics, palliative, psychiatric and telemetry services as well as 24/7 emergency services with after-hours emergency surgery with over 53,000 visits annually.

Peace Arch Hospital has completed an Emergency Department expansion and upgrades project that includes five upgraded perioperative suites (operating rooms), and a new Medical Device Reprocessing department.

Delta Hospital is a 58 bed community hospital offering medical, surgical daycare, outpatient chronic disease management clinics, extended care unit, palliative care as well as 24/7 emergency services with over 34,000 visits annually.

Qualifications:
The successful candidate must have full FRCPC certification and be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia.
