Seeking 12 month family medicine (FHO) locum for taking a sabbatical starting September 2026 at Queen Square Doctors & Family Health Team in Brampton, Ontario. Start date and length of locum flexible.

Approximately 1150 rostered and 100 unrostered. 

6-7 half days per week between Monday to Friday plus daily lab coverage. 

Schedule flexible (clinic open 8am-8pm Mon-Thurs, and 8am-4pm Fridays). 

Access to 2 dedicated exam rooms

EMR: Accuro (with ability for remote access)

Compensation:  $400/half day + 70% of all direct and indirect hourly billing +70% of all uninsured/fee-for-service/WSIB  (i.e. 30% overhead) 

On site pharmacy (shoppers drug mart)

On site lab (phlebotomy done by trained clinic staff)

Xray/ultrasound in the same plaza

Peel Memorial Centre and Brampton Civic Hospital within 10-15min driving distance

Free parking for staff and patients

Staff dedicated to billing/patient accounts

Numerous medical office assistants dedicated to phones, referrals, paperwork, prep rooms, patient rooming, and relay messages to patients

20 other family doctors in the practice who are very supportive

Full complement of nursing staff/social workers/dietitians/chiropody/pharmacist/palliative team/seniors wellness team including for home-bound patients/in-office primary care obstetrics/breastfeeding clinic/ colleagues who do procedures (lumps and bumps/circumcision/IUD insertions/toenail resections, etc) available.

Urgent labs are dealt with by our daily on call doctor – ex. INRs/imaging with alerts from hospital

NO REQUIREMENT to do on-call coverage. I am able to cover all on-call clinics myself. 

I can be backup for when the locum takes vacation time.
