Job Description
Niagara North Family Health Team is seeking a physician to join their team in Niagara-on-the-Lake. This turn-key practice is fully EMR operated ( TELUS Practice Solutions). The practice has 5 physicians at this Niagara-on-the-Lake site and 7 at the Virgil site making a total of 12 in this Niagara-on-the-Lake FHO ( Family Health Organization) physician group.
Niagara North Family Health Team offers patients a team approach to health care. Allied health professionals located in the same new building include nurse practitioners, social workers, mental health workers, occupational therapist, dietitians, nurse educators and chiropodist. The Family Health Team is also home to a Diabetes Education Program, Psychiatry clinic and Memory clinic. It is a collaborative, team-based health care environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for a new graduate or someone who prefers to work in a team-based model of care. This opportunity is eligible for Income Stabilization and Town financial incentives.
