General Internal Medicine - Milton District Hospital

Halton Healthcare is seeking an Internal Medicine specialist for the Milton District Hospital site. Milton is a rapidly growing city. Our hospital site expanded in October 2017 and has a new Intensive Care unit, Surgical suites, Emergency department, Diagnostics, and Inpatient units.

The successful candidate is expected to join our existing internists to provide consults to the inpatient units and emergency department and participate in the Departmental on-call schedule. They are also expected to play a crucial role in promoting and exemplifying excellence in professional practice and conduct and demonstrate a strong commitment to expanding the Internal Medicine service. Your contributions will be instrumental in shaping the future of the Department.

Required qualifications include an FRCP(C) in Internal Medicine (or be eligible for) and a licence to practice in Ontario. Excellent communication and team skills are essential. Additional subspecialty training is welcome.
