Fee-for-Service

Alternative Payment Arrangement; population-based funding; locum rate same as LFP; exact compensation discussed during interview.

Estimated annual income $300,000–$500,000; payment via fee-for-service or LFP; combination payment model (final compensation discussed at interview)

LFP billing; Estimated earning potential $400K+/year; $20,000 bonus for 1+ year contract.

Alternative Payment Arrangement; relocation incentives: $15,000 (relocating from outside Canada), $12,000 (relocating within Canada but outside BC), $9,000 (relocating within BC).

Alternative Payment Arrangement; relocation assistance: $15,000 if relocating from outside of Canada; $12,000 if relocating within Canada but outside of BC; $9,000 if relocating within BC.

Alternative Payment Arrangement; conservative base remuneration for a full‑time anesthetist estimated at approximately $500,000 (1.0 FTE = 1997 hours/year); may be eligible for additional remuneration per the Rural Subsidiary Agreement (e.g. Retention Premium 12.6%).

APL provides an excellent remuneration package, including relocation assistance. Remuneration is commensurate with certification and experience.

Fee for Service On Call Stipend - Physicians are remunerated for being on call. Multiple Alberta Medical Association (AMA) Compensation Programs, including the Rural Remote Northern Program (RRNP), which provides a variable fee premium for Westlock of 5.54%. Salary: $299,696.00 - $400,455.00 (annual)

Contract remuneration based on experience and certification as per the Emergency Medicine Physician or FRCP/CCFP(EM)/ABEM Provincial Pay Grids. Eligible for Emergency Medicine Recruitment and Retention Incentive up to $200,000 over five years; residents (PGY4/5) may be eligible for bursary funding up to $60,000 ($30,000/year).

Contract; remuneration based on experience and certification as per the Emergency Medicine Physician or FRCP/CCFP(EM)/ABEM Provincial Pay Grids. Eligible for Emergency Medicine Recruitment and Retention Incentive (up to $200,000 over five years). Residents may be eligible for bursary funding up to $60,000 ( $30,000/year ) with return-of-service. Relocation support may be available.
