About Unify Health

Unify Health is a physician-owned, integrated, multidisciplinary ambulatory medical centre with over 50 physicians and a broad team of allied health professionals. We are currently seeking a part-time, casual hematologist to join our growing integrated care model. Our centrally located clinic offers easy access, free parking, and a collegial environment that prioritizes high-quality, patient-centred care. We have a large and consistent referral base, and a significant proportion of consults and follow-ups can be managed virtually, allowing for an efficient and flexible outpatient practice.

The Role

We are seeking a hematologist with an interest in benign hematology to join our collaborative and multidisciplinary team at Unify Health. You will play a central role in the assessment and longitudinal management of patients with conditions such as anemia, cytopenias, iron deficiency, thrombocytopenia, anticoagulation issues, monoclonal gammopathies, and abnormal blood counts.

Our clinic is supported by experienced nursing staff and internationally trained clinical assistants who streamline investigations and follow-up, including coordination of laboratory testing, doing in-house iron infusions, coordinating imaging and referrals. In-clinic bone marrow biopsies can be performed when appropriate, with access to Penthrox (methoxyflurane) for analgesia, allowing procedures to be completed safely and efficiently in an outpatient surgical setting. You will have full autonomy over referral criteria, diagnostic pathways, and case exclusions, with comprehensive administrative and clinical support. Opportunities also exist for collaboration with internal medicine, nephrology, cardiology, and other specialty teams as part of an integrated care approach.
