The region has multiple family practice clinics which offer a variety of in clinic services as well as opportunities to create a schedule that suits your needs and those of your family. The collegiality between the clinics is inspiring as clinics support the Creston Valley Hospital (CVH) a 20-bed Acute Care Hospital with an active 24-hour Emergency Department and 2 long term care homes in the Town. All Creston GP's provide routine clinical care within the practices of their medical clinic, and provide approximately 1:11 on call emergency services. Physicians with Emergency Medicine experience are encouraged to apply. Acute patient services at CVH include GP Surgery/Anesthesia/Low Risk Obstetrics, inpatient services, and Dialysis. Local Diagnostics are provided through laboratory services, imaging, ultrasound. Support departments at the hospital include pharmacy, dietary, physiotherapy and occupational therapy as well as other ancillary services. Enhanced skills in OBS appreciated, not required
