Prime Radiology is a group of hospital-based physicians primarily working at the Pasqua Hospital, the home of the Allan Blair Cancer Centre and Prostate Assessment Centre. Our practice encompasses a number of subspecialties utilizing a variety of imaging modalities including X-ray, ultrasound, CT, MRI, mammography, and intervention. We have state-of-the-art equipment including a new interventional radiology (IR) suite. We provide advanced diagnostic imaging and interventional breast procedures at the Regina Breast Health Centre, a new multidisciplinary facility providing comprehensive breast care to patients in southern Saskatchewan. We also provide services at the Regina General Hospital including IR and MRI imaging. As we are a hospital-based radiology practice with no overhead costs, we offer competitive rates, optional on-call services and ample vacation time. We provide comprehensive general radiology and a complete array of interventional services at the Regina General and Pasqua Hospitals. IR practice includes - vascular, biliary, urology, oncology and pain interventions. You will be encouraged to participate in tumor ablation procedures. Qualifications:
Successful candidate will be a Fellow (or be eligible for Fellowship) with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.The successful candidate will have the ability to obtain and maintain a regular licence with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan and obtain and maintain membership on the Saskatchewan Health Authority Practitioner Staff.This individual should be a team player, be able to interact effectively with patients, colleagues, staff and management, and function well in a high-volume environment with a commitment to the provision of high-quality patient and family-centered care.All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply; in accordance with immigration requirements, preference will be given to Canadian citizens and permanent residents of Canada.The start date for this position is negotiable.
