Job Description

One line of the Hippocratic Oath reads - “may I enjoy life and art, be respected while I live and be remembered with affection thereafter. And it is our vision to have our doctors become the living embodiment of this. To be able to say “always accepting new patients”.

There’s a few things about the current family medicine practice scenario in Canada that we would want to change. There’s not enough doctors while the number of patients is on the rise. And so the big question really is, what can we do about it without straining out our doctors?

We have a plan and at a gross level, it looks something like this:

  1. We’re looking to hire two doctors immediately, one in 3 months and then two more every 3 months until we have about 6 doctors working with us full time. The clinic is located in the heart of Brampton is densely populated with constant flow of patients

  2. Have specialists visit us on an on-call basis; Immunologists, Psychiatrists, Otolaryngologists, and more

And how is this different, you ask. Well for one, without it being a hospital patients would have access to some of the most common vocations in a single facility. And we all love that; even as service providers. Our patients would have access to world class healthcare without having to schedule multiple appointments at various clinics that are spread out over the next few weeks that could affect their recovery.

We would all work together, doing what is right, mindfully and intentionally working to cure while treating our patients to the best of our abilities.

What’s in it for you: a fair split of 80/20 to cover administration and other overhead costs freeing you from managing unnecessary business activities and allowing you the freedom to focus on what doctors do and love; treating their patients. The location is in prime Brampton with about 20,000+ homes around the place so patient flow is currently quite high and will never be a problem. A fully managed clinic; a ready patient database (1200+ as of May 20, 2025) from the very first day, highly experienced front office, nursing staff support and optional billing support as well. We use Oscar EMR for our practice.
