About Us:

The West Elgin Community Health Centre has been serving rural communities for over 30 years focusing on improving the health and wellbeing of people and communities. The Centre provides primary health care, illness prevention, and health promotion services as well as community programs primarily to the residents of Dutton Dunwich and West Elgin municipalities with diabetes services available at multiple locations in Elgin County.

With 70 exceptional staff and 100 amazing volunteers, we make a difference every day to our clients, rural communities, and to each other. Family Physician Qualifications:

*General license to practice and current member, in good standing, with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.

*CCFP Certification an asset.

*Ability to perform assessment, diagnosis, treatment, health education /counseling and other medical functions as required according to the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario standards of practice and the Centre’s policies and procedures.
