Coderix Medical Clinic is seeking 1-2 Locum Physicians to join our team in mid-December 2025 for a year-long term as two of our Physicians are going on parental leave. 

We are a community outpatient walk-in addiction medicine clinic for people with a variety of substance use concerns. The majority of our patients are seeking care for opioid use disorder. We also care for people with other substance use disorders (stimulants, alcohol, benzodiazepines etc). We incorporate ACT (Acceptance and Commitment therapy) into our day-to-day practice, however, this is not compulsory for the Locum Physician.

Position Details:

• Location: Coderix Medical Clinic (69 Queen St E Toronto ON)
• Start Date: Mid-December 2025 (can be a bit flexible on exact date)
• End Date: End of 2026
• Schedule: Thursdays and/or Fridays from 8AM-4PM (coverage required for both days)
• Duration: 1 Year
• EMR: NOVX PatientVu EMR
• Renumeration: Fee for service 
• Incentive-based contingency management program for patients on-site

• We are a teaching site for U of T PGY3 enhanced skill addiction medicine fellowship trainees

We are looking for: 

• An Ontario licensed physician in good standing with the CPSO with CMPA coverage
• Either fellowship trained in addiction medicine or has experience in addiction medicine
• Familiar with OAT treatment options - including methadone, buprenorphine sublingual, buprenorphine subcutaneous extended release, and SROM (sustained release oral morphine)
• Interest in behavioural therapy an asset
