We have available two Locum positions in our Clinic setting beginning July 2 to December 31st of this year. The first is for 18 days and the second is for 36 days, These periods are flexible, we would look at any part of the above periods that you are available. Most of the details are available on Health Force Ontario (HFO) website under the rural locum program for RNPGA.

There is a daily stipend ($1015.94), plus the $126.95/day rural bonus (RIO index) as well as reimbursement from the program for travel and housing. The Locum program pays $120/day for housing, the travel reimbursement varies depending on distance.)

We work a five day week 9 -5 with Wed afternoon for local house calls if needed and Friday afternoon for paperwork (forms, charting etc. if required). Our EMR is Accuro. The setting is clinic based only. Please contact the office below for more practice details. We have an ambulance service based in Whitney as well. We are a Family Health Team with a full time NP, a half time RN, along with an Office Manager /Receptionist and our ED as admin. staff. We have a PCVC Telemedicine site for our patients to access specialist services.
We offer weekly phlebotomy services. Closest hospital ED is 30 minutes away in Barry's Bay and regional hospital 90 minutes away in Pembroke.
We are 5 kilometers from the East Gate to Algonquin park with a large visitors centre/museum, camping, walking trails etc.
