Job Description
Join the Department of Medicine, Section of Neurology at Joseph Brant Hospital (JBH) as an associate staff member. We are a busy, full service community hospital servicing the city of Burlington with a population of 175,000. Our Medicine program has three inpatient units, with more than 4,000 inpatient admissions per year, totaling more than 30,000 patient days.
You will join a Department of both generalists and subspecialists including: Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Infectious Disease, Haematology, Respirology, and Medical Oncology. We have a 24 bed ICU with dialysis capacity, a Cancer Centre, robust specialty back-up services and excellent access to diagnostic imaging services, including CT, MRI and extended hours for ultrasound.
JBH is a clinical education campus of McMaster University. The successful applicant will be expected to contribute as a clinician-teacher at both the undergraduate and postgraduate level with learners participating in both inpatient and outpatient care.
Fellowship with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons (or equivalent) and registration with (or eligibility for) the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario is required. Experience in EEG and EMG would be an asset but not required.
We can accommodate a Spring/Summer 2026 start date and graduating residents/fellows are encouraged to apply.
