OB/GYN Full-Time Locum Opportunity

Parental Leave Coverage

Start Date: 

-    Sometime after mid-July 2026 (flexible)

Practice Coverage includes:

o 1 OR day per week 

o 1 24-hour call shift

o 2-3 clinic days per week (schedule can be busy or relaxed, as you desire)

On Call: 

o Home call

o 1 in 5 (or less, if preferred)

CKHA Services:

-    Catchment area: 110,000

-    Beds: 200

-   Deliveries: 900/year

-    Physician services: 

o  FRCSC 5-year trained anesthesiologists

o  Surgical services: general surgery and ERCP, ENT, orthopedics, ophthalmology, urology

o  In patient medical services: closed ICU, internal medicine, hospitalist, medicine subspecialties

o  24/7 ER and on-call coverage

Remuneration: 

-    100% OHIP fee for service billings

-    $547.32 /day HOCC payments 

-    Option to do surgical assistant call for additional experience/income

-    Will discuss overhead costs and anticipated monthly FFS billings with interviewed applicants

Requirements: 

-    Independent CPSO licensure 

-    Lodgings within 20-minutes response time while on-call

o   CKHA can assist with pre-negotiated preferred rates with local vendors 

o In-hospital call room can be provided at no cost

-    Accuro EMR trained (training and support provided, as needed)
