Listowel Memorial Hospital, part of the Listowel Wingham Hospitals Alliance, is a 41- bed full service hospital with a dedicated General Surgeon (including c-sections).  There are typically 3-4 OR days scheduled requiring Anesthesia coverage plus HOCC.  Listowel Memorial Hospital has modern surgical suites, emergency department, diagnostic imaging - on site CT, ambulatory care and a full complement of clinical consultants: Cardiology, Dermatology, ENT, Gastroenterology, Gerontology, Oral/Maxillofacial Surgeon, OB/Gynecology, Orthopedics, Pediatrics, Surgical and Urology.  EMR links with 10 hospitals including London.  

Listowel is centrally located in Southwestern Ontario in a growing community of 9,500 and serves a catchment population of 27,000. Located 35 mins northwest of Kitchener-Waterloo, 1 hr from the shores of Lake Huron, 1.5 hrs from London and 2 hrs from Toronto.
