Our client in Lakeshore Village Etobicoke, a private rehabilitation, wellness, and performance clinic promotes a collaborative and multidisciplinary approach to orthopaedic, spine, and musculoskeletal injuries. Offering a modern 2500 square footage, the clinic staff provide a professional, supportive, and empowering environment for their community for over 20 years. Accessibility is provided for patients with ambulatory issues.

The clinic has a comprehensive range of solutions: Concussion Assessment, auto injuries, spinal injuries, scoliosis, foot care, sports injuries, arthritis, and migraines.  Pain management procedures are provided through physiotherapy, chiropractic, kinesiology, osteopathy, naturopathic medicine therapists.  Services include laser therapy, spinal decompression, orthotics, and bracing as well as on-field coverage.

The clinic is seeking an orthopaedic surgeon to join their team to provide a rapid-access clinic for community physicians to refer patients for assessment and diagnosis. In addition, the orthopaedic surgeon would provide IME’s for third party funders, provide injections as required, and provide supervised referrals for their patients. Staff are able to log in remotely to Clinic Master EMR.

Qualifications

• Registration in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO)
• Restricted license to practice independently in Ontario within scope of practice without supervision
• Eligibility to obtain licensing through CPSO under Pathway A for US board-certified physicians or Exam Eligibility Route for internationally trained physicians from the approved jurisdictions as quantified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada - US, UK, Ireland, and Australia
• Up-to-date malpractice insurance

Remuneration:

• Fee-for-Service Split 80/20
• $1,000 for Independent medical assessments (IME)
