Salary / Compensation: 75% commission per piece (fee-for-service basis). Expected gross income of $300,000 - $400,000 annually

Job Summary

Cassandra Clinic, a well-established multidisciplinary medical centre serving the North York and Scarborough communities since 2009, is seeking a qualified Pediatrician to join our growing team of family physicians and specialists.

The successful candidate will provide comprehensive primary pediatric care and special pediatric services, ensuring continuity of care for children and adolescents in the community. The role involves both preventive and acute care, as well as collaboration with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

- Diagnose diseases and physiological disorders

- Prescribe medication and treatment

- Refer patients for surgery

- Treat diseases and physiological disorders

- Order laboratory tests, X-rays and other diagnostic procedures

- Examine patients’ health condition to identify diseases and injuries

- Prescribe and administer medications and treatments

- Inoculate and vaccinate patients to prevent and treat diseases

- Advise patients on health care

Employment Requirements

• Medical degree (MD) or Doctor of osteopathic medicine (DO) or equivalent from a recognized institution.
• Licensed by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO).
• Experience in general pediatric care services.
