The department of Diagnostic Imaging at BC Cancer, Vancouver cares for over 6,000 new patients annually and provides a wide spectrum of oncological imaging to inpatients and ambulatory patients of the BC Cancer Agency. This role will see you join a cohesive team of subspecialty Radiologists that in conjunction with our medical, radiation and surgical oncology colleagues, deliver world-class care + research to our oncology patients. Your mandate will include general diagnostic cross-sectional work including CT, MRI, US and plain radiography as well as performing image-guided biopsies and procedures. BC Cancer is affiliated with the Department of Radiology, University of British Columbia and participation in teaching at all levels from medical students to fellows, and in clinical research is encouraged.



This role will appeal to a dynamic professional who seeks both clinical and academic challenges in a collegial multidisciplinary environment. You should desire to work with a team of dedicated colleagues who put our oncology patients first, enjoy helping each other out and value excellence in radiology. You have certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or equivalent. Licensure or eligibility for licensure with the BC College of Physicians and Surgeons is required. Fellowship training in chest, body, neuro, MSK, MRI, oncology or breast imaging would be an asset. Procedural skills in imaging guided biopsies and basic procedures is required, with an option to participate in a growing imaging guided oncology pain management practice.
