Our congenial group of 4 has an opening for 3.5 Full-Time physicians. A combination of Clinical, Hospitalist and Emergency Services make this an interesting opportunity for a rewarding practice experience. This is a very cooperative team, which provides preceptor teaching as well as a supportive environment that prioritizes CME for the group. Monday thru Friday daily rounds provide an interactive opportunity to discuss care planning for hospital in-patients with peers.

The Manitoulin Central Family Health Team is a primary health provider organization, located in the picturesque town of Mindemoya. The providers of care include a team of 4 full-time physicians, as well as the complimenting services of nursing, nurse practitioners, social work, health promotion and dietitian.  This position includes the provision of family health care in a modern health care facility, with EMR PS Suite from TELUS Practice Solutions in place since 2006.

Clinic Hours 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. with 24 Hour On Call - and Inpatients

Approximately 7000 active patients access our services.

On-Call at our 14 bed local hospital (no Obstetrics) will be 1 in 7 (when at full complement).

Clinic remuneration is within a RNPGA salaried model with separate Call remuneration via sessional hourly rate, ED Services Premiums and HOCC (Hospital On Call Coverage) funding.

The team provides preceptor teaching to the NOSM and Laurentian University. Our clinic has welcomed adult learners from other institutions through NOSM.
