They are a not-for-profit organization offering primary care and dental services in the vibrant Mount Pleasant neighbourhood. They are a full-scope family practice supported by a clinical pharmacy on-site that also functions as a diabetes educator and assists in various aspects of chronic disease management. The Mid-Main team consists of 7 physicians, 2 nurse practitioners, 2 registered nurses, and 5 medical office assistants. The patient population is diverse, representing different ages, cultures, socioeconomic statuses, and medical complexity. The clinic has 8 exam rooms, 1 procedure room, 2 admin offices for telehealth appointments and a shared clinician workspace to promote teamwork. The clinic conducts appointments both in person and virtually.

The clinic’s experienced support team of MOAs are trained to take patient vitals and measurements, ensure room preparation and procedure set-up, assist with referral tracking and processing third-party record requests.

With the support of their Oscar OSP, EMR and built-in virtual technology (Cortico), daily processes are streamlined. This includes online appointment booking, encounter templates for faster charting, pre-visit questionnaires, and automatic patient notifications to reduce no-shows.
