Job Description
Alberta Health Services, Edmonton Zone is currently seeking a full-time Physiatrist for the shared service provision at the Glenrose hospital, Cross Cancer Institute/Westmount location and University of Alberta Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine - Corbett Hall.
The successful candidate will share responsibilities for rehabilitation consultations in oncology, stroke and brain injury (inpatient consults and outpatient clinics).
In addition, they will contribute to ongoing research studies and apply for grants that promote research in oncology rehabilitation. They will participate in teaching medical students, residents and other staff members.
The successful candidate will be an MD with certification in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA).
