 Description: 

Foothills Medical Centre is recruiting a Child and Adolescent inpatient psychiatrist for Unit 26. The successful candidate should have completed their Child & Adolescent Psychiatry subspecialty training or equivalent. The successful candidate will be expected to provide comprehensive inpatient mental health assessment and treatment for adolescents with serious emotional, behavioral, and/or psychiatric problems that cannot be treated in the community, day patient, or outpatient settings. Service will also involve working with the child's family and/or guardians and other care providers. The successful candidate will be providing call coverage approximately once per month.

Qualifications:

The candidate must be eligible for Licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta.

Must read, write, and speak English.
