FHO/FHT Locum Opportunity in a Small Group Practice in Dundas, ON

A member of a 2-physician group practice in the beautiful and quaint town of Dundas (located just minutes West of Hamilton and Burlington) is seeking locum support from March 4-27, 2026 (some flexibility in dates may be available).

Caring for a roster of approximately 900 patients, the locum will cover 5 half-days per week, with some flexibility in days/hours available (each half day is comprised of 2 ½ hours of clinical work combined with ½ hour of administrative time). The ideal candidate will be able to provide coverage on at least 3-4 separate days of the week.

Typically, the physician will see 18-20 patients on a full day, and 10 patients on a half day. An experienced medical assistant supports the practice, which also has full reception coverage as well as billing support if desired. The successful candidate will be practicing in an office that is shared with a FHO colleague as well as a GP Psychotherapist.

As part of the HFHT, the practice has access to registered dietitians, mental health counsellors, and a consulting psychiatrist through a nearby hub located at the Shoppers Drug Mart on King St. West. The HFHT pharmacist is also available for joint appointments to help with complex patients. The practice uses PS Suite EMR and Ocean for eReferrals.
