FHO OPPORTUNITY (7-MD FHO)

Location: Kanata(Ottawa), Ontario

Take-over a roster of 972 patients in a FHO with 6 other MD’s. Can easily grow if desired. The suggested weekly clinic appointment schedule is 1 half-day per 200 rostered patients, so currently my appointment schedule is 5 half-days per week.

Congenial, supportive MD’s in the same FHO since 2014.

Buy-in: $30,000 (one month's gross income)

After-Hours Clinic: Our FHO provides five after-hour clinics per week as mandated by the FHO agreement. These are shared as evenly as possible amongst the 7 physicians.

Overhead: Cost-sharing agreement. Pay your share of lease, utilities, staff, EMR, supplies and equipment.

Internal Economy: We compensate each other for seeing another FHO physician's patients in the after-hours clinic.

Shared Staff: 1 RN, 1 RPN, 1 clinical attendant, 4 admin/reception, after-hours reception.

EMR: PS Suite, Ocean(for online booking and referrals) and PatientServ(for patient billing of non-OHIP services).

Average monthly deposit from MOH(RA): $31,894

Average monthly overhead including payment into Internal Economy: $3507 (Oct 2024 to Oct 2025)

Average monthly gross: $31894 - $3507 = $28,387

Gross in previous 12 months: $28,387 x 12 = $340,644
