Job Description

Seeking locum to cover for my upcoming leave in midtown Toronto, starting Jan 2027.


📍: Midtown Toronto, right across from Davisville TTC station

  • Free parking spot included but honestly I find it's much easier to hop on/off TTC


🗓️: 12 months maternity leave locum starting Jan 4, 2027

  • ~1000 rostered patients, newborn to geriatric care
  • 5 half days: Tues and Wednes AM+PM, Fri AM
  • On-call requirements: 1 full week (4 evenings and 2 weekend 3hr shifts) every 3 months
  • 15min regular appointments, 30min CPX and newborn/well-baby visits that requires vaccines
  • Quick 5min rx refill / vaccine only appointments to maximize billings 


🩺: FHO+ with 2 other female MDs, 1 competent female NP, 2.5 MOA support staff, and SW once day a week. Very collegial and friendly team

  • EMR: Oscar Pro, remote access
  • Referrals via Ocean + EMR
  • Online booking, messaging, video appointments, invoicing via Cortico; phone appointments via VoIP
  • Our office is used to having locums & new grad friendly!


💵: $500/3hr clinical half day (FHO+ billings + top-up), no overhead 

  • No split for shadow billings, out of baskets and 3rd party payments* (*minus 3.5-5% vendor fee) 
  • We have a robust invoice system for prescription refills, sick notes/forms, DTC applications to ensure 3rd party payments
