Trauma Call Rate — Day shift (10 hours): $1,454.34; Evening shift (14 hours): $2,181.53; 24-hour coverage: $3,635.87. Benefits and professional expenses are the responsibility of the physician unless otherwise specified.

Remuneration is on a fee-for-service basis and is competitive with other North American jurisdictions. In line with our shared care model, all billings are pooled. Mom Care Docs physicians are paid for the number of call shifts, clinic days and the amount of administrative work they perform for the group, with a weighting that rewards overnight work at a higher rate than day work, in line with Alberta Health fee for service billings.

Remuneration for this position is based on the Academic Medicine & Health Services Program (AMHSP). Salary will be commensurate with education and experience and ranges based on a number of different factors with an annual mean of $349, 009.92.
