Fee-For-Service

The average gross income of a Family Medicine Physician in Alberta is $380,522. Compensation for this opportunity is based on a fee-for-service model and may include additional program stipends.

Remuneration is on a fee-for-service basis and is competitive with other North American jurisdictions, a clinical stipend is also available through the Acute Care Coverage section of Medical Affairs.

Combination payment model

Combination payment model; eligible for Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA) incentives including Retention Premium 20.02% and Retention Flat Fee $31,025; MOCAP and REEF rural incentives.

Alternative Payment Arrangement; relocation/moving assistance for full-time positions: up to $9,000 (within BC), up to $12,000 (within Canada), and up to $15,000 (from outside Canada). Incentives subject to change and confirmed at time of offer.
