1-Year Opportunity in a Group FHO/FHT Practice

A family physician in Stoney Creek is looking for a locum to support his practice December 2025-December 2026. The successful candidate can expect to work Thursdays and Fridays each week OR one week per month. Office hours are 9:00-5:00PM on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, 9:00-1:00PM on Wednesday and 9:00-2:00PM on Friday.
Working within a shared space with another family physician, the locum will be supporting a roster of 1,800 patients. As a member of the Hamilton Family Health Team the practice receives support from an in-office Mental Health Counsellor, Clinical Pharmacist and Registered Dietitian. Each physician has their own nurse, and four administrative staff are shared between the two physicians.
The practice uses PS Telus Suite EMR, ePrescribe, Ocean eReferrals, Ocean emails and Online Booking.
The candidate can expect a competitive daily rate as well as shadow billings for this work.
