2-Week Locum Opportunity in FHO/FHT Solo Practice

A family physician who is co-located with FHO colleagues in East Hamilton is looking for a locum to support his practice for two weeks, July 24-August 7, 2026. The locum can expect to work 5 days each week, working 4 days in-office and 1 day remote.
Working in-office Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and remote on Wednesday, while supporting a roster of ~1,800 patients, the locum can expect to see 25-30 patients per day.
A member of the Hamilton Family Health Team, the practice is supported by a number of allied health professionals including an RN, clinical pharmacist, registered dietitian, and mental health counsellor. The practice is also well-supported by a medical receptionist and IMG who helps with documentation.
The clinic includes 3 exam rooms, a lunchroom for staff, separate staff and patient washroom facilities, and free on-site parking. Patient records are managed through Oscar Pro EMR and Ocean eReferral is used for external referrals.
