Full Time Anesthesiologist Opportunity

Anesthesiologists who hold a fellowship with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and are eligible for an Independent or Restricted CPSO license are encouraged to apply. Subspecialty training is not required. 

Surgical Program Highlights:

-14,000+ surgical procedures (including endoscopy) annually 

-7 ORs and 2 Endoscopy Suites equipped with the latest technology 

-Sedation for ERCPs 

-Full time Anesthesia Assistant in the OR

-Approximately 850 newborn deliveries annually (24/7 epidural service)

-Pre-Anesthesia clinic run by the department

Schedule and Compensation:

• ORs and Endoscopy Suites run Monday to Friday from 0800-1500.

• Weekly schedule: OR or Endoscopy Unit four days. In-hospital Anesthesia Consult Clinic one day.

Hospital Call:

• Approximately 1 in 6 (24-hour call)

• Each call shift earns a $547.32 HOCC stipend
