About St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton King Campus

·        An out-patient facility located at 2757 King St. East, St. Joseph’s King Campus is a pioneer in Ontario’s health care system. With a focus on delivering patient-centred care to the residents of Stoney Creek, East Hamilton, and the broader Hamilton-Wentworth Region.

·        Our King Campus is also home to St. Joseph’s Urgent Care Centre (UCC), providing access to care for non-life-threatening emergencies, with volumes equal to those of the Emergency Department at the Charlton Campus.

·        The UCC provides urgent care for patients with non-life-threatening injuries and illness, such as lacerations, sprains, infections​:

o  UCC Visits have increased over 30% in five years – a quarter of all patients live in Stoney Creek – one of the fastest growing areas in Hamilton​

o  Some patients visit UCC as they have no other options for healthcare – 10% of these patients do not have a Family Doctor

About the Opportunity

This is an opportunity to practice in a new primary care clinic space that offers:

·        Up to 8 clinic / exam room spaces

·        Reception space and with admin desk / 4 office spaces

·        Private board room

·        Waiting room

·        Shared lunch / staff lounge

·        Washrooms, and,

·        Through co-location SJHH will support patient navigation to register non-attached patients to the primary care clinic
