Take Over Established Roster in a 2-Member Group Practice (FHO) in Lynden

A member of a 2-physician group (FHO) practice in the village of Lynden, located in Flamborough just west of Hamilton, is seeking a successor to take over the care for her well-managed roster of approximately 900 patients. Working in this rural, but not remote, community, there is the opportunity to grow the practice, if desired.

Current practice hours are Monday – Friday from 9am – 5pm with half-days on Wednesdays. As part of a large 24 member FHO the practice provides on-call coverage for the FHO approximately 1 weeknight evening per month and two weekends a year which involves 3 clinics (Friday Evening, Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 1 pm). The FHO has a well-staffed after-hours clinic across from Brantford General Hospital which take patients mostly by appointment with excellent triage.

Working alongside a FHO colleague, the successful candidate can expect to see approximately 15-20 patients per day. The practice is supported by a nurse, an office manager (who handles billings) and a receptionist. Patient records are managed through Telus Practice Solutions EMR.
