Job Description:
Our well-established, multi-disciplinary medical clinic in South Edmonton is expanding to meet the growing need for high-quality community care. We serve a diverse patient population and work collaboratively with local primary care networks, specialists, and allied health providers. As demand for psychiatry assessment and chronic disease management continues to rise, we are seeking 1 position for a Community Psychiatrist physician to join our team and support comprehensive, accessible care close to home.
The Community Psychiatrist will provide outpatient consultative services, longitudinal chronic disease management, and diagnostic expertise for patients with a wide range of conditions. This role is ideal for a specialist seeking strong community integration, collaborative practice opportunities, and the ability to shape and expand psychiatric care services in a thriving region of Edmonton
Qualifications:
- Have a current eligibility letter from CPSA.
- Have or be eligible for certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Certification (RCPSC);
- Have certification or equivalent in Psychiatry
- Must have recent and relevant experience in all areas of practice required
- Commitment to community-based practice and interdisciplinary teamwork
