Job Description
This position is a COMMUNITY position and is NOT part of Alberta Health Services.

Job Description:
• Provide comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages in accordance with Alberta Health guidelines.
• Perform assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, chronic disease management, preventive care, and follow-up.
• Manage same-day and scheduled appointments efficiently while ensuring high-quality patient experience.
• Maintain thorough and accurate electronic medical records (EMR).
• Collaborate with onsite pharmacists and healthcare team members for optimized patient care.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Provide patient education, counseling, and care planning.
• Participate in on-call rotation if applicable (optional-remove if not needed).
• Adhere to all Alberta College of Family Physicians (CFPC) and College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA) standards.
Qualifications:
MD or equivalent.
· Licensed or eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta.
· Certification with the College of Family Physicians.
· Expertise and commitment to quality care and patient safety.
· Demonstrated commitment to Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) in the healthcare environment.
· Understanding of Just Culture and its role in healthcare.
Qualifications:
MD or equivalent.
