Job Description:
At Vivo Cura Health, we provide comprehensive, patient-centered musculoskeletal (MSK) and spine care to the Calgary community. Our multidisciplinary team includes sports medicine physicians, physiotherapists, athletic therapists, and physiatrists, with formal collaborations with orthopedic surgeons and neurosurgeons.
We are seeking a full-time, fellowship-trained Interventional Physiatrist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in the assessment and management of musculoskeletal and spine conditions, including interventional spine procedures, and a passion for collaborative, outcome-driven patient care.
The successful candidate will have a strong interest and expertise in musculoskeletal medicine, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team. Experience with EMG/NCS, musculoskeletal ultrasound, and/or fluoroscopy-guided injections would be considered an asset.
Qualifications:
Have a current eligibility letter from CPSA.
Doctor of Medicine degree (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)
Fellowship or fellowship eligible with the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC) in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
Eligible for licensure in Alberta Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) registration, or Board Certified Physiatrist actively practicing in the United States.
