The Fort Frances Community Clinic office hours are normally 8:30 am - 4:00 pm Monday to Friday. Patient volumes and schedule is at the discretion of the Family Physician.  ER is a Level3 AFA, with approximately 18,000 visits/year. ER premium available.  Hospitalist work available.  Low risk obstetrical services with c-sections approximately 150 deliveries/year.  

The Fort Frances Physician Group is funded through a FHO and works with the Fort Frances Family Health Team, both are located at the Fort Frances Community Clinic. Excellent earning potential with reasonable overhead. 

The Fort Frances Recruitment and Retention Committee www.recruitdocsff.ca offers a moving expenses, assistance with transitional housing, as well as a Community Lifestyle Package for two-five year return of service (ROS) agreements. Fort Frances has approximately 8,000 residents.  The FF Community Clinic, La Verendrye General Hospital and Riverside Health Care serve a catchment area of approximately 18,000.  Adjacent to Fort Frances is International Falls, MN, a community approximately same size as Fort Frances.  We have excellent access to international airports from either Fort Frances or International Falls. 

We are a teaching site for Northern Ontario School of Medicine. As such, we regularly have medical students and residents in various stages of their educational journey. With NOSM and Northern Ontario Academic Medicine Association (NOAMA) Fort Frances Local Education Group offers all local NOSM Faculty access to generous CME funding and research opportunities.
