We are seeking a Family Physician to provide locum coverage at the Stratford Family Health Team (FHT) for one year, to support a parental leave. Details on the locum opportunity include:

• Locum to commence early June 2026-end of June/early July 2027 (about 12-13 months).
• Patient roster is 1200.
• Coverage requirements include 2.5-3 days per week, about 8 hours per day (9am-4pm). The last hour is same day slots that may/may not fill.
• The Stratford FHT is open Monday-Thursday (Fridays are always off) but there is NP coverage for 1 day per week.
• Locum responsibilities include inbox coverage.
• Daily stipend, inclusive of inbox coverage is $1200/day.
• Staffing support includes 1:1 nursing support, 2 MOAs who cover 4 physicians.
• The Stratford FHT is a Family Medicine Teaching site through Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry. There would be opportunity to participate in teaching if interested.
• Family Physicians with interest in Hospitalist work would be able to provide coverage at Stratford General Hospital/Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance. Over the 12 month period, it is anticipated this could include 4-6 weeks. Hospitalist work is paid at $1400/day, plus on call coverage as required.
