Role Description:
Canadian Heart Care is looking for several Cardiologists to join their dynamic and progressive teams situated in two locations. This rewarding clinical experience offers full-time or part-time hours with flexible scheduling options to suit your lifestyle. The clinics prioritize a successful clinical experience and work-life balance in a professional, supportive, and collaborative environment. The Cardiologist will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients with cardiac and vascular diseases, as well as performing diagnostic procedures. You will also be responsible for working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide the best possible care. This position offers an opportunity to work with a talented and experienced team of professionals in a modern and well-equipped facility. The care team includes Cardiologists, General Internists, and physician assistants. Qualifications:
- Independent Practice Certificate of Registration from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO)
- Membership in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO)
- Royal College certification in Cardiology (or pending certification)
- US-trained specialists are exempt from The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons eligibility requirements (US Board Certified Physicians are eligible for an independent license in Ontario)
- Internationally trained candidates who pass the subspecialty exam being launched by the CPSO (College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario) will be considered
- Medical liability insurance from the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) or equivalent required, appropriate to the category of practice
- Restrcited Registration Certificate from CPSO
