JOB TITLE: Primary Care Physician – Locum – short or long term.

REPORTS TO: Building Owner / Office Manager

JOB SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

● Doctoral degree with a specialty focus on Internal Medicine/Family Medicine

● Board Certification with College of Physicians and Surgeons (CPSO) providing he/she has a valid billing number.

● Ability to communicate clearly with patients and team members

1. Neurology Specialty - Injections

2. EMG & Nerve Conduction Study, EEG Lab

3. Medical Place Pharmacy – Free delivery to all patients and clinic services regarding medication, patient counselling, sterile delivery for all injections.

We are looking for a motivated, educated, licensed, detail-oriented and driven Internist/Family Physician who has experience working with patients in a community health setting. Our private clinic has advanced technology, optimal EMR with electronic billing services. We also, provide wonderful highly trained staff. Candidate will be provided with, 1 office administrator – office assistant manager - 1 physician assistant.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

● Perform physical evaluations on patients who are seeking medical attention and have medical concerns. (In person consultation / Phone consultation / Video consultation.)

● Order screening tests and other measures that aid in the diagnostic process, and review reports, labs, x-rays, EKGs and all other screening methods.

● Customize a treatment plan unique to each patient’s symptoms and diagnosis.

● Perform minor procedures, if needed.

● Prescribe medication as part of a treatment plan in accordance to federal and Provincial laws, and perform drug and disease utilization reviews on a regular basis to ensure quality treatment of patients and to avoid any drug and/or therapy conflicts.

● Follow protocol set by the directors of the health clinic, adhering to medical ethics and standards, and provide recommendations in updating protocol if needed.

● Our office hours are Monday to Friday – 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Schedule is negotiable.
