 Opportunity

à Sault Area Hospital, a 293 bed facility, is seeking Emergency Medicine Locums for our dynamic community ED which receives 120-140 visits per day. 7 different shift times available across your preference of service:

* Acute and Subacute area - CTAS 1&2 -16 and 10 beds

* See and Treat - CTAS 3 - 8 beds including gyne and procedure room

* Fast Track CTAS 4 & 5 - 9 beds including cast room , eye room and procedure respectively

à Affiliation with the Northern Ontario School of Medicine (NOSM) provides the opportunity to teach residents and medical students.  Faculty appointments are encouraged.  

à Research is supported by the Sault Ste. Marie Academic Medical Association.

à Daily flights from Air Canada and Porter for ease of transportation. 1 hr flights from Toronto. 

License &  Eligibility

à Candidates must hold an independent practice license with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO).

Remuneration

 Remuneration is attractive and competitive: 

à Alternate Funding Agreement (Daily rates based on shift + shadow billing)

à Expenses covered through OH NSLP

à Travel sessionals and Honorarium
