A solo physician in a FHO/FHT practice is looking for a locum to support the practice one day per week, starting as soon as possible. With a preference for someone available to work on Fridays, there is flexibility for coverage to be either Tuesday, Thursday or Friday. The successful candidate can expect to work 9:00-5:00PM, and while supporting a roster of ~2,000 patients, the locum can expect to see approximately 30 patients per day.

As part of the Hamilton Family Health Team this family practice is supported by a variety of Allied Health supports including an RN, Mental Health Counsellor, Clinical Pharmacist, and Registered Dietitian. The practice also receives off-site Psychiatry support for referrals. An experienced receptionist handles all patient bookings, and a medical office assistant handles insurance, referrals, and patient preparation.

The office is fully computerized and utilizes Telus PS Suite EMR for patient medical records, and OCEAN for most referrals.

Located in a brand-new clinic, the clinic has 4 exam rooms, a private office and is located with a lab and pharmacy on-site. Parking is free for both staff and patients.
