Full-Time Family Physician

Highbury Medical Clinic is seeking a full-time Family Physician to join our established primary care team in London, Ontario.

You will join other experienced family practice physicians already working at the clinic. You will have access to a steady patient base, fully equipped examination rooms, Accuro EMR, and experienced nursing and administrative support.

You focus on patient care. Our team supports clinic operations, scheduling, billing, referrals, and patient flow.

Position Overview

We are looking for a physician who can provide consistent full-time family practice coverage and build or assume a stable patient roster.

A regular full-time schedule supports:

• Better coordination between physicians, specialists, and staff

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care to rostered patients
• Assess, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
• Provide preventive care, screening, immunizations, and patient education
• Manage conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, respiratory illness, mental health concerns, and musculoskeletal conditions
• Conduct routine physical examinations
• Provide follow-up care and medication management
• Order and interpret laboratory tests and diagnostic investigations
• Refer patients to specialists when appropriate
• Coordinate care with hospitals, pharmacies, and community healthcare providers
• Maintain complete and accurate documentation in Accuro EMR
• Work with other family physicians, nursing staff, and front-desk staff to maintain efficient patient flow

OB/GYN and Internal Medicine specialists are also available within the clinic.

Ideal Candidate

• Licensed to practise medicine in Ontario
• CPSO independent practice certificate
• Eligible to bill OHIP
• Interested in providing long-term, comprehensive family medicine
• Comfortable managing a broad range of primary care concerns
• Reliable and able to maintain a consistent full-time schedule
• Professional, efficient, and patient-focused
• Strong communication and documentation skills
